I've always intended to get the recording--as a kid I was musical, and Snoopy obssessed and I never knew You're a Good Man Charlie Brown but I did see, I think when it first aired (so I woulda been five or so) and watched nearly daily the tv animated version fo Snoopy theMusical (Edgar Allan Poe was my fave song). It wasn't till a few years ago I found out it was based on a stage musical (I wonder if the cartoon is on DVD0
Since then I've heard Charlie Brownand honestly I prefer Grossman's songs for SNoopy but it may be partly nostalgia.
(funny the only other songs by Grossman I know are his couple of songs for Pocahontas II :S )

Well I have the cd on my hard drive shared on Utorrent if you ever want to listen to the rest:)
On the whole I think YAGMCB is a better show but of course I may be biased having played Schroeder once in that show heh

Posted: 4/18/07 at 7:52amI really love the music from this show. "Poor, Sweet Baby" is a really great song. I would make sure you have both the original (off-broadway? maybe Los Angeles I forget) cast recording and the london one. The London one has extra songs (but lacks one from the other recording and really isn't as good). "Dime a Dozen" on the London recording is just fantastic. What a cute musical, but I can't say which I like better, this or YAGMCB. Probably Snoopy!

I love the show, and have a cartoon version of it somewhere. I've not watched it though as I'm scared of being disappointed. what a saddo I am.
I've only got the London cast recording with Susie Blake - the new Mad Morrible in London's Wicked - as Sally Brown. Great stuff.
