hello,
I just received information on an audition in few days for a show called Snow White based on the Brothers Grimm tale with book & lyrics by Tom Tippett and the music is by John Clifton. I have never heard of this show and have no idea what kind of voice they are looking for. I would hate to go in singing a belty song when they are looking for a softer soprano. Does any one have any idea of what kind of music this is, and/or song ideas for the audition? Any help would be appreciated. (I am a female and can sing both sop and alto). The only female characters I can think of would be the queen and Snow White, and I am too tall to play a dwarf. (Ha!)
Thanks again.

Prepare material that covers both 'voices' and ask the folks on the other side of the table what they would prefer to hear. The show is TYA so prep upbeat songs that will keep the kiddies interested.
