I honestly thought it was a sick joke when I read the title of one of the posts. I didn't even know she had cancer.
This is sad and shocking news to me.

The movie will definitely be dedicated to her. After mourning, Mel will throw himself into his work to ease the pain so watch for Young Frankenstein sooner rather than later

Posted: 6/8/05 at 9:15amShe was a total sweetheart and an amazing actress. Her and Mel were the most adorable couple. She was in the movie version of 'night, Mother and she was great. Rent it if you can -- it's only on VHS -- a very young Sissy Spacek stars in it with her. It'll blow you away.
