It's still coming, but no one knows when, or if they do, no one's saying. They've had creative team problems off and on and have had to cancel their tryout at the Chicago Theater that would have opened at the end of last month. The word is that there still will be a tryout somewhere, but it's unknown as to where, and then likely open on Broadway sometime during the 06-07 season.

well they performed at the Broadway Festival a week ago if that is any indication...

As far as what I have gathered from the concept recording, the show does need some work, but it has some great elements to it. It has the foundation for a healthy run.

Besides, the story, IMO, is one of the best ever written.

It should open on Broadway in December 2006. It has long been rumored that it will take the Hilton and I have heard nothing to counter that rumor. I do know that the creative team is hard at work right now. Things seem to be on schedule from what I know. It is not the most expensive show ever to be on broadway. Look at all the articles BESIDES the latest playbill article. Playbill was wrong, never fixed the error, and now everyone seems to think it is the most expensive show. It will be capitalized at the ABSOLUTE most at $15 million and it probably won't even reach that. As for the person who said there is no money in place, where do you get your info? Don't just thow rumors out there without support to back them up. And Hot Feet is going into the Hilton for now.

The music is great. With the right cast/creative team this show could fly. I cannot wait to see it!
