LEGALLY BLONDE on May 3rd. I hope it is as funny as the movie was.I haven't been in the Palace Theatre since THE WILL ROGERS FOLLIES many years ago.It is a beautiful theatre.
On May 4th I am going to Carnegie Hall to hear the St. Cecilia Chorus and Orchestra perform Mendelssohn's "Die Erste Walpurgisnacht" and Orff's "Carmina Burana", both dynamite pieces that are likable on a first hearing. Give it a try, even though it's not Broadway. Tickets start at $20.
I am a firm believer in serendipity- all the random pieces coming together in one wonderful moment, when suddenly you see what their purpose was all along.

Well, I've got my ticket to the city on May 12th, so by then I'll be able to see...Curtains, Lovemusik, Legally Blonde, and 110 in the Shade. Those are the ones I'm most excited for. My friend I'm going with will probably want to see Spring Awakening again so I might be seeing that...and if there's time hopefully I can see Journey's End because everyone seems to LOVE it.
Tues- "Pirate Queen" Weds- "Frost/Nixon" Friday- "Moon For The Misbegotten" Sunday- "Company" Weds Mat- "Inherit the Wind" Thurs- 6:30- "Inherit The Wind" Opening Night !!
If I have enough $$ then I will be seeing Legally Blonde and maybe a couple other shows in June. And I think I'm seeing Grease and maybe a few other shows in August for my 18th b-day!

Have to join the one who listed what they'd seen because cause I'm done until summer.
January--Grey Gardens The Little Dog Laughed Altar Boyz (daughter's xmas present)
March--Spring Awakening Company
Definitely seeing "Avenue Q" again (third time) this summer (with daughter--her passing 9th grade/birthday present) and possibly "Hairspray" (fourth Broadway visit) in May if I can convince some theatre-phobes to go.
Would love to see "Spring" again...maybe on a summer solo trip.:)
This weekend: ticket to Curtains and I'm trying to catch Spelling Bee before the cast change
Next weekend: Hairspray and Legally Blonde
In May - Ave Q (my mom's choice for her mother's day gift. She picked Jersey Boys last year.) and I'm seeing Spring Awakening again later in the month.
I'd like to fit in Frost/Nixon, Coram Boy, or one of the new plays....or go see Journey's End again.
5/4 ~ 110 In The Shade 7/21 ~ The Year of Magical Thinking (with the parents this time)
I'm gonna be helping a friend with Spelling Bee lotto this weekend, so we'll see. Since I live in Brooklyn, I do a lot spur of the moment.
Just finished "Theatre Week" for spring break ~ that inclucec Talk Radio (hated it), A Chorus Line (sweet...I could remember seeing it the first tim as my first ever show when I was in high school), Frost/Nixon (loved it), A Moon For The Misbegotten (loved it), Spelling Bee (random lotto with a friend...still adorable), and The Pirate Queen (not horrid).
