Two sites I can think of right now:
http://www.perspicacity.com/elactheatre/workshop/monos.htm

The 2nd one is especially good for female monologues.
Look at "How I Learned To Drive." Also, there is a monologue by Chris Durang about a disasterous performance of "Peter Pan" which is done to death, but a riot if you do it totally straight as if you were describing a car wreck. It works. Maybe someone can come up with the play it's from.
And for Godsake, when you're doing a monologue. READ THE PLAY!
Even if you get it from a monologue book, you've got to go out and buy the play to know what went down before the speech. It will only enrich your performance. Promise your Auntie Gladys, you'll do it right.

ok aunt gladys i promise to read the play(hehe)...the time limits are 1 min comedic 1 min dramatic-strictly enforced. I'm thinking of either Libby from "I ought to be in pictures" by Neil Simon or Nora from "Brighton Beach Memoirs" also by Neil Simon for dramatic.Sound good? Comedic, I'm checking out all the suggestions...

If you got pretty specific, I can PM you a monologue from one of the books in my collection...it's just that there's so many of them and I wouldn't know which one to choose and give to you.

I'm actually in need of a one minute comedic monologue as well.
I'm telling you go for Seinfeld.

littledancer tell me if you have any luck, i am having absolutely none!! I would love to do seinfeld but they're looking for theatre pieces
There's a great comedic monologue in a show called It Had to Be You by Joseph Bologne and Renee Taylor. It's about a stressed woman auditioning for a part. Appropriate.
Try a selection from Laughing Wild by Christopher Durang. Half the show is a female comedic monologue. Lots of great material.
There are some wonderful monologues in A.R. Gurney's production entitled "Love Letters"....Check it out, it is a wonderful play!
See Ya Later!
