Hi there:
I ordered 4 issues of the Sondheim review and paid online. The payment went through however I haven't received any of the issues. When I called the two numbers, the mail box was full or the number was no longer in service. I e-mailed them with no response.
Has anyone else experienced anything similar?

It's a total scam. Sondheim is a totally made-up word.
After Eight will probably be able to let you know if he stopped receiving his subscription and when.
If it is a scam, your credit card company will reverse the charge, so not a huge cause for alarm.
It IS a quarterly, so I would keep in mind they probably don't have a full-time staff working 24/7.

I get my issues in a timely fashion. But I, too, wish I could reach them.
Do they have a snail mail address you can write to? They don't seem to be the sort of people fully embracing the 21st C.
I emailed The Sondheim Review a year or two ago with a question regarding submitting an article, and they took approximately three weeks to reply. Certainly not quick, but the response I got was professional and well-articulated, so perhaps just hang in there for a response?
