Sondheim film

I came across this 10 minute mashup of FOLLIES on Frank Rich's Facebook page. He said about it-

"What if that long-rumored Hollywood backlot film adaptation of Sondheim's "Follies" had actually been made? Ed Cachianes, who did the extraordinary mini-version of "Pacific Overtures," has distilled "Follies" and golden-era movie history into a ten-minute video, an exquisite and moving miracle of time travel, not to be missed: FOLLIES@THE ROXY"

I agree- it is a brilliant freewheeling interpretation. Very creative.

The filmmaker also has a Pacific Overtures mashup on his vimeo page which is fantastic.

I hope he does more Sondheim mashups.
