Live from Lincoln Center will broadcast the concert of PASSION starring Patti LuPone, Michael Cerveris and Audra MacDonald on Thursday March 31 at 8 Pm. (Buffalo's PBS station will repeat the concert at 2:30 am on Friday April 1 as well.)
Fans of the show already know what a powerful piece it is. The rest of you have a chance to explore this rhapsodic chamber opera. I won't kid you and say it's an easy piece to respond to the first time through and the show's flashpoint comes almost 80 minutes in. But, it is worth the investment of two hours of your time.

Live theatre does not use a "soundtrack." If it did, it wouldn't be live theatre!
