I remember that Sondheim wrote an original, purposely not-good song for one of the women to sing in the 1971-72 play "Twigs" by George Furth. I think it was called "Hollywood and Vine", but couldn't swear on that.
Anyone else remember this song sung by Sada Thompson? In context it was tragically uproarious.
Any publication knowledge?
