With the news that Sondheim: the Birthday Concert will be released on DVD/Bluray, has there been any word if an audio recording of the show will be released?

Nope, just a DVD/BR announcement. Though, if that embarrassment "Hallelujah Broadway" could get both, why not this?

Honestly, it is extremely simple these days to rip the audio of the DVD. It isn't an absolutely perfect solution, but it's good enough for me.
