Jimmy,

This is not a regional theatre, this is a company that plans to go national, plans are already underway for a fund raising concert in Melbourne at the end of the year.

Even Melbourne and Sydney Theatre Companies have understudies and do close enough to the same time frames season wise.

The television presentation was embarrassing. The interviewer constantly trying to be witty was annoying, and there was a strange irony that following Sondheim talking about over amplification in the theatre the two soloists (embarrassing, both) walked onstage and proceeded to sing with hand mikes. Ugh.
