So.. any good songs for an almost 9th grade girl (unknown musicals please!)

Well, if you're an Alto, you could sing one of my favorite songs from "The Wild Party". The song is entitled "Life of the Party". Idina Menzel sings it but there aren't any curse words so, you should be ok. First, I suggest that you get the soundtrack to the show to really get a feel for the song.You can get it at Barnes and Nobles or a cd store in the mall or something. Good luck!

Unknown musicals. hmmmm. Depending on how savy your audience is you could go with "Lonely Pew" fron the movie version of Reefer Madness. Bye Bye Birdie might be unknown to your age group, so you could pull out "How Lovely to Be a Woman." And I know this doesn't fall under unknown musicals, but a 9th grader at my high school sang "I'm Not That Girl" for the talent show here a couple of weeks and did an amazing job.

Well, I am in 10th and for my audition for the musical I sang "Still Hurting" from The Last 5 Years and got in. Last year for the audition I sang "Not for the Life of Me" from Throughly Modern Millie.
