IT'S ABOUT TIME. I SAW SCOTT ALAN'S PIECE READING TOO. THIS GUY IS THE NEW SONGWRITER. THE SHOW MADE ME CRY THREE TIMES. I DON'T REMEMBER ALL THE TITLES OF HIS SONGS, BUT I REMEMBER ONE SONG CALLED GOODNIGHT AND ONE SONG CALLED IF I OWN TODAY WERE ABSOLUTLY AMAZING. I am a huge fan of his as well. I actually know so many people who think he is the next songwriter too. So, his website is www.scottalan.net. He writes journal entree,s and you can find the lyrics to goodnight and if i own today on his site. If I Own Today is also my favorite. I love the line - If my life was different, if there was something i could change. I would take half of my passion and turn it into strength. I know I always feel that way. Ill be at the show. Hopefully there not sold out yet. gotta make reservations I guess.

Never heard of Scott Alan, but went to the site. If I Own Today made me cry. I love finding new composers. Any place to get the sheet music for this song ?

Those lyrics read like more dreary navel-gazing, like most of the new theater writers.
