Why is row C on the side considered front row by the stage if the venue map lists row A and row B?

Keith, if possible it's best to avoid extreme left or right.

If you get a chance check out All That Chat. There have been several posts there about this and that is the consensus. Also, people seem to be pleased with the Loge (what the VB calls the Mezzanine). I saw from Row J, Right Center. I recommend Right vs Left.

The ticket prices were NEVER $100.00.

From before previews began, tickets were $110.00 for previews and $120.00 for performances after Opening Night.

There are no more discounts for obvious reasons.

I stand corrected. $100.00 must have been the preview prices. But they were always set to go up to $120.00 once the show opened.

No. Originally the top price was $100 for previews and then $110 after opening. Then the day after opening the top price went up to $120.

I splurged and bought 2nd row dead center for August...

Does anyone know if South Pacific has standing room, rush, or any other possibility of last-minute tickets? I'm going to be in NYC this weekend, will be seeing Spring Awakening on the Saturday matinee and would like to see South Pacific on Saturday night. Is it worth going to the box office any checking on last minute returns/rush/standing room, or should I just get tickets for something else (likely Gypsy or Cat)?

Got tickets for 5/12 for $ 65 with one of the early Broadway Box discounts

We will have dinner afterward at a nice French restuarant whose name I cannot pronounce. The dinner is comped but drinks & tips I have to pay for.

Looking forward to it.

They took out rows A and B to make room for the open orchestra pit. Since there is a full orchestra, they definitely needed the room and well worth it.
