If the show does well and continues to do so. What do you think the chances are of moving it to anither theatre for an open run. Or at leasr extending it for the summer.

I don't know about moving it, but I am more than definite, that an extension announcement will be made very soon, right after the opening and the folowing reviews ! Word of mouth is stellar and tickets are next to impossible !!!

On Broadway.com it says they're selling group tickets until 12/21/08 so I think that's a good sign they will be extending. re: South Pacific chances for an open run

It wouldn't be unprecedented for it to be extended at the Beaumont for an unlimited run -- that happened with Anything Goes and Contact. I think it's going to be a matter of the critical reaction with this one.

I hope so. I really want to see this and can't get tickes for the life of me.

Yeah, Lincoln Center has many times in the past kept mountings of shows in the Beaumont for extended runs (PIAZZA is another example) and rented out commercial Broadway theatres to house the other productions they mount for their subscribership.

winston89, using telecharge's range of date search a few days ago I actually saw some excellent seats available. I suppose you have to be flexible.
