Student Rushed the show today....for $26.25, my seat under the stage wasn't that bad, although my neck hurts as an after effect. Not much can be said that hasn't been said already. The entire cast is phenomenal, especially Judy and Donald. Ha-ha. I laughed, I cried, I had a ball.
The did a BCEFA speech at the end of the show....Donald said that Judy will find out who doesn't donate and show up at their house at 2 AM to seranade them as Madame J. Good times.
Revisited the show last night, my first time seeing it since it was at the York. Donald Corren is a vast improvement over Jack Lee as Cosme, and Judy Kaye is as wonderful as ever.
***MAJOR SPOILER***
I was bawling my eyes out during the final "Ave Maria".

so the rush seats are in the front row? what time would you recommend getting to the box office?
Given that the show is playing to around 40% capacity, I'm pretty sure you could go 5 minutes before curtain and get good rush seats.
I was there Saturday afternoon...also "under the stage"...which didn't really matter for this show.
I went for all the wrong reasons...because I had a cheap ticket...and ended up loving the show. Both actors are phenomenal. Donald Corren played his role with humanity and warmth. In lesser hands, he could have come across as calculatedly playing Lady Flo for the fool, but he managed to convey his great affection for her, as well. And Judy Kaye somehow instilled a unbridled joy and enthusiam into her deluded character. She was a lunatic, to be sure, but I never pitied her. Part of me envied her.

I really had a wonderful time at this show when I saw it as well. I wasn't expecting to enjoy it nearly as much as I did.
Enjoy it while you can. This show's gonna close extremely soon.
