Spacey Casting?

Saw a note recently that says Cameron Diaz was going to be cast by Kevin Spacey in a production @ the Old Vic. Also mentioned he wants to cast more "stars" in theatre productions. Huh? Ms. Diaz has no stage credentials & its kinda rough on the paying public to have her learn on the job. I know we talked about "stars" on Bway but the West End is the same idea. I'da thunk Spacey would know better!

Rumor has it Spacey is considering "The Philadelphia Story" with Gwyneth Paltrow. I don't see her in the role but who knows.

I personally would like to see more British stars on the stage such as Emma Thompson, Kenneth Branagh, Diana Rigg, Julie Walters, etc.

And I would sell my mother and father to see Pauline Collins and John Alderton do a show together.

Somebody has to pay for their nursing home and I don't remember seeing a trust fund when I turned 21. If the nursing home allows them to sell their macaroni art, maybe I can just rent them out.
