Posted: 1/10/06 at 8:46pmYea people have said that on the weekdays they showed up after 10 and got a ticket. Plus since theres two shows everyone will want tickets to the night show. So if you get there by 8 or 9 you should be fine.

Posted: 1/10/06 at 8:48pmJanuary is the SLOW month....you can get to most shows at 1/7:58 and have no problem getting a ticket.

Hence, "most shows" :)
The Spam SRO line hasn't been that long of late....last I saw it it barely went past the first picture window.

Posted: 1/10/06 at 10:26pmIt's not so much the fact that they like night shows more (even though matinees are often referred to the early bird special of theatre), but more the fact that you're average theatregoer (not a tourist or visitor, Im talking about) is in their office during the day. An evening show is much more plausible for most New Yorkers.

Posted: 1/11/06 at 11:37pmI was curious about checking this out some time. For most nights, how early do you show up for Spamalot SR tickets? When the box office opens?

It's been my experience that people are there way before the box office opens.
However, that's probably changed since my days of spending all my time backstage at the Shubert.
