I just got back from the Spamalot tour in Boston. I had seat A27 in the balcony, and those seats were not bad at all...you are actually close to the stage, just a bit high up. Anyways, I saw a seat in the front row center, so I moved there during intermission.

Overall: great, flashy fun. I'm not good at giving character descriptions, so I'll just say this. The whole cast was great for the roles they were given. My favorite scene was David Turner's (Robin) "You Won't Succeed on Broadway." I loved the little dance break a la Fiddler on the Roof. Another number that stood out was "Knights of the Round Table."

I was curious to see Pia Glenn's take on the role as the Lady of the Lake. She sings very well! She's no Sara, but she definitely pulled off the role and its "diva-esque" attitude.

Another funny scene was the French taunting scene...David Turner was hilarious. I know this has been mentioned before, but during the chasing in this scene, "Eponine" is on the back of one of the characters.

The grail is in seat A101...the Colonial is arranged AAA, AA, then A, B, and so on. So if you are in the third row, seat 101, you will be brought on stage and given a little foot trophy and a Poloroid of you with the cast. In addition, they sing a personalized song to you using your first and middle name.

If you don't get that opportunity, then try to catch the Lady of the Lake's bouquet of flowers at the end.

And if you don't get that, you will at least be showered with confetti in the end.

I'm going to see it again April 13th. Perhaps then I will post a better review.

Thanks for the review! Question for you, do they have the two castle balconies on the sides where Lancelot and Robin pop out of in the beginining of the show?

They did have two windows that Lancelot and Robin came out of...they were on the sides, but the windows were not placed so that Lancelot and Robin would be facing the center of the stage, if that's what you mean.

How was David Turner? I am SUCH a fan. I may have to see him when he takes over for DHP.

Is he taking over for DHP?
I thought he was a standout in this cast.

I thought Martin Moran was taking over for DHP.

If you sit in the uppermost balcony, you won't get showered with confetti. : I know, I'm dumb.

David Turner was really good! The Jew song is one of my favorites, and I loved the piano cadenza and the dance break. I was literally 5 feet away from him while he was doing that song...and I was worried about the cast not having big names, but this just goes to show you that you do not need big names to sell.

I wonder who had that single seat in the dead center front row orchestra...

Awww. I love his charisma. Am I mistaken? I honestly thought he was taking over for David Hyde Pierce.

Another thing, David Turner was pretty good looking! For a second I thought he was Galahad, because Bradley Dean was good looking as well, and they both had almost the same hair. Certainly better looking than DHP...not demeaning DHP's talent though.

After seeing David Turner, it is really hard to picture DHP playing Sir Robin. He (David) was great, surprised me with dancing. I agree he and Bradley Dean look alike.

Dean: Can I tell you something? Lorraine: That depends on what it is. Dean: I think you're really really pretty. Lorraine: (after a pause) Ok, you can tell me that.

Oh my gosh. I think Bradley Dean is so handsome! I saw him in Evita and he took my breath away. I wish I would have seen David without his IN MY LIFE make up on.
