Could someone please tell me if Spamalot has a rush/lottery policy? It is true that it is sold out until the end of time, right? Also, is DRS on tkts? Does it have a rush/lottery policy? Which one?
Thanks a lot. I tried finding this on my own, but was unable to.

Spamalot offers SRO (get there REALLY early), and DRS has a lottery.

Here's a good resource for rush, etc policies:

DRS has been on theatermania.com for discounts... Don't know what that means to you though.

Thanks guys. I am asking for a friend, so I will let him know. What are the chances of cancellation tickets for Spamalot? Also, HOW early do you have to be there for the SRO? When the box office opens? Thanks.

I got to the BO around 9:30 and there were already five people in front of me (for tickets in general, not neccessarily SRO). This was before it opened. I've heard of people getting there around 7:30/8:00 these days... good luck!

Did you have to wait a long time, or do they give you the SRO right away?

When I was there, they put the SRO people in a separate line and said that they probably wouldn't find out until noon (whether or not they offer it is up to the producers) -- that may have changed, since they made so much in ticket sales after opening are are probably near sold out... maybe they're more inclined to offer it right away.

I don't know if those people actually waited until noon or not; I didn't get SRO. Hope this helps!

I went to the BO for Spamalot around 11:30 for a Wednesday matinee, and I was able to get three cancellation tickets. DRS has a lotto, and is a little easier to get tickets to. Generally, about 30-40 people show up for each drawing, but it depends when you go. I went on a rainy Wednesday, and there were only 10 other people there.

The DRS lottery is generally not so crowded and there are discount codes to get orchestra seats for $66.25 instead of a hundred.

Regarding Spamalot, firstly its not "sold out until the end of time." A couple weeks ago I was able to get tickets for May 31. And you can get partial view seats for $55 sometime within the next couple of weeks. Regarding standing room I was told that they are sold as soon as the box office opens, but people line up for them as early as 8:00
