Spamalot review 7-5-06 with some spoilers

So i have been waiting so long to go see this show but tickets were so expensive so when a discout poped up i got the code and orded my 68 dollar partial views seats. I was in row h seat 20 i didn't miss anything accept part of the french taunting but no big deal.
So anyway the show was hillarious i was literally laughing the whole time. The cast was really on last night. Harry Groener was a great King Arthur and his comedic timing was excellent,steve kazee was a good lancelot and was just so funny. We saw James Ludwig as the understudy for Martin Morin but wow he was just really into the part tonight he did a great job. Now onto Lauren Kennedy.Well she was fantastic she really made the show very funny her comedic timing is pretty good.When she was doing the knights of the round table the part where she's scatting she actually says in the middle "i'm scatting" her voice is pretty and powerful and i lover her facial expressions i think that helped her comedy out alot. she did and excellent job. Christian Borle I give that guy so much credit for playing all thos parts he literally goes from one costume to the next. Oh and when did chris siber leave i mean the man who took his place was fantastic but their was no real announcement of him departing from the show. Hmm? So anyway the show was great i had a blast.

Stage door: Everyone came out of the stage door accept lauren and christian. They said lauren had done two shows and was very tired and left right after the show enede I can understand i will just have to meet thm some other time.


Side not: so this family next to me had 9 kids and they kept getting up to leave finally it stopped but i just kept starring at them until they got the hint. pissed me off. And also the family infront of me was constasnlt using the cell phone for text messaging how annoying.

i know playbill.com said today that christopher sieber left this weekend and said he did it "quietly" or something. who knows.

that disapoints me since i'm seeing it in august and have a huge crush on him (yes, i know he's gay lol!!!)

chris will be in the london production from september 30th, when it previews.
