He was in the touring company of JCST, but was suddenly replaced mid-run. WHat were the circumstances behind his leaving? I heard that he was fired...is this true??

It was a dreadful case of stunt casting another role, imho.

On top of that, he was at odds with other cast members, whom will not be mentioned. Let's just say, when thing didn't go his way, he threw a fit and walked off the show, hopped a plane and left. He certaintly had to face the music over that.

Not that this hasn't been done before,,,but it's not a wise thing to do.
