Is it just me, or has Ariel's tail changed since Denver, it looks more curled, and wirey and odd in a sense.

Can anyone help me out with this lol

yes it does look very different, but i think it looks better, not as floppy.

I felt the other one looked more "real" and liked it better like it actually had some meat to it and its almost too curled where it doesn't look real and she's always in this intense curved position, very unnatural

They made a deliberate decision to change the tail to a more "artistic" and interpretive design. There are now spaces in the fabric where you can see the wiring. It isn't just Ariel. I saw the show last night and all of the sisters had the new tail.
