I'm another old fart who saw it fairly early in previews and agree 15 minutes could be edited away (the lunchroom scene could be trimmed) and there are some plot devices that are pretty far-fetched (the boys bathroom). These quibbles aside, it's the funniest and most entertaining play I have seen in a while. I totally loved Diwata and the boys - I wanted to cheer at the "official presentation". And Susan Blackwell knocked me out with her second character. I work with people who are JUST LIKE THAT.

"Christ, Bette Davis?!?!"

It has been trimmed, a little tighter and from what I am told, a different ending of sorts. I too saw it in previews. And will be going tonight. I really loved the play & the performers. I overlooked the flaws, because I was laughing so hard!

I saw it last night (for the second and probably final time - gotta get others to see it, after all...) and it's gotten tighter and even funnier (which I didn't think was possible).

The cast is so talented, so funny and so energetic... I think it's a complete breath of fresh air. It's funny because I saw it the first time as sort of a tribute to Spring Awakening's OB cast member, Gideon Glick, but I went back for the rest of the cast and the production as a whole because it's just so damn funny!

I saw it last week and loved it! Yes there are flaws, but pretty darn good for $20. I thought the actress who played Dawada was amazing. I haven't laughed that hard since I saw an episode of "Full house"

I saw it in previews and was blown away. All three characters were perfect. I am currently a high school student and I'm sure that affected my perspective, but I KNOW all of these characters. I AM Diwata, in my own little way. As for the abortion thing, it was almost random, but so is she. I think it could’ve been a bit more conclusive, but it didn’t bother me, I don’t think it is something she would talk about anyway, so why dwell on it. Each one of them was HILARIOUS!! It was extremely well-written and SO relevant. It would be interesting to compare this one to Spring Awakening, because the subjects are similar. I think the humor, brought a whole new realistic, modern perspective to it all. There are so many themes to it that truly made it an enlightening experience. The $20 ticket idea is GENIUS!! It is encouraging an entirely new, poor generation of theatre-goers to see a wonderful, exciting show. I can’t wait until the rights come out!!
