Spelling Bee SRO Question

I saw Spelling Bee in May and got standing room but that was when the Standing Room tickets were sold right after the lotto. I know now they changed it to when the box office opens but my question is - Do people usually get to the theatre before the box office opens and wait? If I get to the theatre @ 11:00 (am obviously) when the Box Office opens @ 10:00 for a Saturday Matinee, are my chances good? Thanks

In June, I went to the box office at like 11:30ish and got a SRO ticket and I think I bought the 3rd, 4th, and 5th tickets that day.

just becareful they only sell sro tickets when the show is sold out!

I went about 3 weeks ago, bought my SRO at noon, and was the first to buy. When we got to the theatre, the ushers told us that we could sit in the seats of the back row after the first song if we would want to... We did of course and the seats were awesome (the theatre is tiny). So basically we sat in $95 seats for $25. So apparently the show doesnt have to be sold out for standing room to be available. You shouldn't have a problem getting tickets!

Kevo thats so funny because I tried to buy tickets the other day and got there around 1 for a 7:30pm sunday show and was told we could not buy tickets for SRO if the show was not sold out.

c is for company and i waited 3 and a half hours for the damn thing to sell out, but it finally did, we went first at 10 30 in the morning, then at about 6 we got tix. I was like thank you god when the girl said we could buy them.

I got my SRO about a half hour before show time a few weeks back. Minutes before the show began, the ushers came over and seated us in a row that was entirely empty for some reason.
