Spelling bee at Drama Bookstore?

I had just read a breif article on this site about Sara, Jay, and Dan being at the Drama Bookstore discussing their theater experience and my friend and I decided we had to go. But the article confused me a bit talking about reservations and...whatnot stuff. Anyone know any more information about this that may help?
