Alana Joseph went on an open call for
an - the musical on Broadway cast by Bernie
Telsey with Julie Taymor Directing. After 4 weeks of call
backs - singing and dancing and acting - Julie Taymor
wanted to cast Alana as Spiderman’s girlfriend’s younger
sister (16-1. The music was created by Bono of U2.
She actually got to sing the whole score with Bono and
was alone with him for an hour and a half. Unfortunately,
the producer pulled the backing, so it after all. So close!

Is this true??

It was just announced that Evan Rachel Wood would be playing Mary Jane and she was pushing for one of her co-stars for Peter Parker.

So this show is gone already? I would find it hard to believe but I don't know much about this stuff...ha!
