Posted: 11/5/11 at 2:34pmHow crowded does it usually get? I'm bringing a 7 year old to see the show and I would like to take her to the stage door afterwards. I doubt it'd be a madhouse like the How to Succeed stage door, but I wouldn't feel comfortable putting her in a crowd that shoves their way through to get things signed.

Posted: 11/5/11 at 2:49pmThings may have changed a lot since I stagedoored almost a year ago last January, but it was empty. I would think that since there still aren't really any big names in the show, you'd be just fine.

Posted: 11/5/11 at 4:21pmIt is not that busy. But the actors do come out fairly quickly and those not intending to stay, but are just leaving the theater, see the actors and decide to move over. However, all the actors stay for a while, talk, autograph, and take pictures with whoever wants. There is really no shoving at all.

Posted: 11/5/11 at 4:30pmI had a similar experience. They were all really patient in waiting to meet all fans after the matinee I saw. Especially Reeve Carney - he had a mix of teen girls swooning over him and young boys wearing Spider-man tshirts who saw him as a superhero - and he gave them all a good deal of time. Very cute.

Posted: 11/5/11 at 8:42pmWhen I went to see the show the stage door was not crowded at all either. Jennifer Damiano and T.V. Carpio came out first to sign and talk and were both very kind. Reeve Carney had press to do because this was around the time when they returned from their brief hiatus and he and I also had a lovely conversation. All in all, the cast was very patient and generous and you will no doubt have a great time meeting them!

I noticed it takes Reeve a while to come out, the four times I've been to the stage door I almost left but he came out. Friends wanted to see him. So cold, those nights.
But, they are the most charming cast on Broadway. Really really nice and really great to the audience. And they LOVE when the little kids come to the stage door. I remember watching Chris Tierney spend 10 minutes talking to this one little boy.

Posted: 11/7/11 at 12:14pmThis was one of the best 2 Stage Door experiences I ever had. Priscilla was the other one. The cast here took their time and came out and talked to everyone, take pictures, mingle and just enjoy their fans. It never felt like they were in a hurry to leave or in a hurry to get anywhere. They were truly there for the fans. So taking a 7 year old will be no problem at this stage door.

Posted: 11/7/11 at 1:18pmI agree. spiderman was one of the best stage door experiences I've had. it's rarely overly crowded, and the actors with the exception of a few really take their time and actually TALK to everybody. Reeve is so kind, and really makes an effort to have a mini conversation with everyone. you can tell they really appreciate their fans.

Posted: 11/7/11 at 2:09pmYou all must be going to a different Spider-Man stagedoor. Everytime I have gone (all 9 times, don't judge me) all the ensemble members just walk away unless someone stops them. Reeve is really the only one that comes out after every show he performs in and is the nicest guy. Everyone else is a hit or a miss.
