the casting director was having a conference there and decided to have auditions.

That does seem random. Unless they're attempting to cast some latina pool boys, it seems like a random place to hold a casting call. Hopefully they'll hold more.

They're probably just trying to find the best talent they can, so going around the country makes a slight amount of sense.

I could understand a casting tour, but since they had just one random open call in Florida, that doesn't seem to make sense either. But whatever, I am hoping they do decide to do that and come somewhere on the West Coast so I have a chance to audition!

I hope they come up to NY/Boston. I don't think my liklihood of getting a role would be high, but I'd love to have the opportunity, and the experience of auditioning.
