Ticket has been sold. Thanks
Ha, I'm onstage that day for the mat, too.
How are the onstage seats? Is everything in full view? Should I go for those tickets instead of more expensive premium ones?
Fyi if you're asking for your August trip, Spring Awakening onstage seats are currently sold out through...October, I believe? (Someone who is more Spring Awakener than I would know the exact dates.)
But I would not suggest onstage seats for a first-time viewer. No, everything is not in full view.

I think everything is in full view, just from the sides and back. i loved it that way, even the first time, btu then when i saw ti from the front, it was evwen lots better....
Okay. I'll order my tickets when I am sure GG has is closing.
I don't know what to do. Should I just order the tickets for SA now?
I can't refund my other tickets yet though, right?
Until a show officially announces a closing, no ticket agency will issue a refund.
But should I order my SA ticket now to get the best one?

OK, I'll bury it in this thread to start, so I don't get deluged...
I am not able to get to NYC in August, so I am going to sell the tix I have for Thursday, August 2. On-stage, AA7-9 (stage right, in the middle, but AA9 is adjacent to the little on-stage aisle).
These are e-tix that I will e-mail you once I recieve payment.
I thought about going through e-bay, but I'd rather "one of us" used them, rather than going for bigger $ for them.
I'll sell the two for only $100 even.
PM me if interested.
Why for $100? A pair of stage seats should not cost that much...
Onstage seats are usually $31.25 at the box office...$41.25 (give or take a couple of bucks) if you buy them through Telecharge. Just wondering...how much did you pay?

I paid about $80 for the pair. For a variety of reasons, I didn't think $100 was unfair.
Similar pairs of tix are going on ebay for $180 or more.
Now I feel greedy.
Well, it is a little bit of a greedy thing to do...no worries though.

Well, it took me quite a while to find front-row onstage tix. And the things are still on my credit card, gathering interest. Then all my trouble to have to re-sell.
I do apologize. I did not realize that it was not cool to offer tickets above cost on this board.
eh- I say ask for whatever you want for them. But just most here know that $100 is a markup, and will point it out...
I had onstage seats that I couldn't use once, and I traded them with someone else on here for her onstage seats for a later date, just an even trade- that could be something you might want to try, if you can't sell them.
How is the mezzanine for SPRING AWAKENING?

Isn't this called "scalping" if you try to sell a ticket for more than you paid? (I'm not talking about ebay... realize this is an auction)

Depends on where you live...for example, except for certain exceptions there are no more scalping laws in NY.
eta the exceptions: A few of the old regulations remain, however, including the ban on scalpers selling tickets within 1,500 feet of the larger arenas and within 500 feet of smaller venues.
