Spring Awakening RAPE!

The hayloft scene in the original play is obviously a rape. Broadway romanticized the act. Is this right to rewrite? Would it work as a rape as intended? Would it wreck the experience or take a way sympathy of Melchior??

There have been a looot of threads about this, IIRC.

Personally, I don't like how they rewrote it.

As someone who celebrates negativity by writing about shows he HATES over and over again (e.g. CryBaby as recently as yesterday), maybe you shouldn't be judging other people on the quality of their posts. Or did you just run out of BS lies to post about genuinely good people? Instead of knocking another poster, why don't you actually writing something elucidating or informative about a show that you like? Life doesn't have to be about wallowing in the negative all the time. It's gonna be ok. Just smile and start typing and see what happens.
