Spring Awakening Rush Chicago

Spring Awakening is coming to chicago next week and I was wondering if there were rush tickets available. I couldn't find any information about it but I thought i would check on here to see if someone knew.

I don't know, but I would assume so. This show attracts many students and isn't a constant sell-out, so it would make sense to have rush.

I know the Opera House and Colonial Theater in Boston have a set policy for administering rush tickets, and the distribution of rush tickets depends on the production. Check with the theater to find out if they have a rush policy and if Spring Awakening will have student rush available.

As of Friday, there are plans for a rush, it just has to get approved by the show.

*bump* so I ended up e-mailing BIC, and here is what they said:

"Yes, there will be a student rush day of show for $25 cash tickets. There is a limit of 2 tickets per person."

I'm assuming this means it's also first-come, first-serve, a la JB rush, but e-mailed back to ask just in case :)

**edit** also, BWW, I searched "spring awakening Chicago" to find this thread and it didn't come up. Not sure why not. lol I don't know if there's anything that can be done to fix that but just FYI I guess :)

Almostfamous- pretty sure it's for all performances, but you can always call and ask. [phone].

and JoeKv99- you're going to be blown away! I was onstage opening night and it was really..an unforgettable experience.

they start student rush at 5:30. so get there then or within the first 20 mins. theyre soo cheap. I say the show the other night for just 25$. awesome deal.

yeah i figured i would start at 5:30 for the night show but I was wondering more about the matinee. I would prefer to see the afternoon show than the evening show.
