I tried to do a search on this but couldn't really find anything about it on here or on google. I saw the Spring Awakening tour in Detroit a few days ago and noticed (or think I noticed at least) a bunch of changes to the show since seeing it on Broadway a few months before closing. A few definite changes I realized were:
- Lyric changes to All That's Known
- Melchior sings a little bit during Whispering
- Ilse sings a verse of another song before Song of Purple Summer
I've only seen the show live one other time so there were some things that I thought might be new but wasn't sure. Does anyone know of other changes that were made? I am seeing the show again next week so I'll see if I notice anything else.

You're mistaken regarding the first and third changes. Although those parts are different from what is on the Spring Awakening OBCR, the tour is performing it the same way ti was always performed on Broadway. They recorded the OBCR between the closing of the Atlantic Theatre off-Broadway production and the mounting of the Broadway production, and there were changes made after the recording was completed but before the show was locked on Broadway.
Melchior singing during "Whispering" was added when they mounted the London production, and was incorporated into the tour when Jake Epstein joined the cast, starting with the Washington, DC stop last year.
Aside from various blocking changes, the only other change to the book I can think of off the top of my head is some additional dialogue that they added in the scene where Ilse reads Melchior's letter, just before the Graveyard scene and "Those You've Known".

I saw it saturday night and the sex scene was also different i saw it on tour and broadway. You see the boob on the tour the full boob for about 30 seconds nothing concealing it.
You see the boob in the show too...at least I did.
