Spring Awakening national tour question

I know, I know, just what this board needs....another Spring Awakening thread. Ugh!

I'm curious what the official word is (if any) about this anticipated tour. A friend just told me that the Wharton Center for Performing Arts in East Lansing, Michigan has "signed it up" for their 2008-2009 season. Could that possibly be true?
