Spring Awakening on the Price is Right?

I have the Price is Right on now, and Drew Carey just mentioned something about hearing a song from Spring Awakening during the break.

I thought these episodes were aired within a couple of days of taping...was the cast in the audience? I couldn't tell. Or was this taped last month when they were in LA, and they did a performance during the commercial break?

Having been to a Price is Right taping, ( yes, yes! ) I know that the audience gets to ask Drew questions and give him gifts during the commercial break. When I was there, one woman read a three-page poem that she wrote. So maybe someone played/sang a song from Spring Awakening ?

Newyorkwords, someone actually posted the same time as me, and apparently the cast performed during the commercial break. That would've been something to see on the show!
