Sweetie, there's a newly written book for the musical. It's not just a song inserted here and there in the play version.

"Winning a Tony this year is like winning Best Attendance in third grade: no one will care but the winner and their mom."

"I have also met him in person, and I find him to be quite funny actually. Arrogant and often misinformed, but still funny."

How do we answer this question without giving a play-by-play of the entire story? Needless to say, there are many moments that are not in the original and vice versa. The adaptation is quite well done and the songs are FAAANTASTIC!! I'm excited to hear "The Guilty Ones", the new song, although I'm surprised they took out "There Once Was a Pirate". Jonathan Groff's voice was thrilling when he hit that high register. It was a really pretty ballad which overlapped the priest's sermon (which opens Act II). I wonder if they've cut out that church scene completely.

So, is the CD finally available for sale at this point? I'd love to get a copy!

FYI, McFrenzied, "There Once Was a Pirate" will still be on the CR.

"The Guilty Ones," a new duet, has replaced "There Once was a Pirate," but Mayer said "Pirate" will still be recorded on the show's cast album, which will be released in early December.
