Not an SA fan AT ALL, but I think it's cool to see current Broadway shows in other languages.

Pretty sure we all know that.

Posted: 11/4/08 at 9:52pmDoes anyone know the official information behind this production? Funded by whom? Producers? What theatre and performance run-dates? How was this helmed, because it doesn't look entirely similar creatively (like a tour would)

Posted: 11/5/08 at 12:49pmDid they end up using people in their late 20s because child labor laws are so much stricter there that they didn't even bother looking at anyone in the 16-to-22 range? Nice voices, but yeah, the age range is kind of disorienting.

This is so odd... the whole style of singing sounds so much lower, slower, and.. altogether less Spring-Awakeningy. I have to ask-- curse words. How do they translate? Are they actually swearing in Swedish, or are they saying something else altogether? Because I know in German, they don't have really strong swear words so much.
My favorite part was that blond guy writhing around on the ground.
