Remember when the Autumn season would see all the major West End openings..? It seems in the past few years its steadily becoming more and more the Spring season which see the majority of major West End openings...
Autumn 2009 so far is really only offering Legally Blonde and Cat on a Hot Tin Roof leading the way in great new opening... but Spring 2010...
Love Never Dies, Hair, Debbie Reynolds, Private Lives and no doubt the transfer of Sweet Charity and Annie Get Your Gun. Plus I'm sure some more yet to be announced.
This year Spring saw, Sister Act, Priscilla, Night Music, Calendar Girls, Spring Awakening and Autumn saw some filler tour shows and a few Broadway transfers of not exactly runaway hits.
Before it used to the Autumn ... Recently, 2004 had The Producers, Mary Poppins and Woman In White and 2006 Autumn season had show after show after show opening through out September to November!
SO... Spring, The Autumn?
