St. Patrick's Weekend Crowds

How busy is Broadway typically during St. Patrick's Day Weekend? I'm making a quick trip down to see some shows that weekend and want to prepare myself for busier rush lines, etc. if needed.

I don’t know that Broadway is any more or less crowded than normal because it’s St Patrick’s Day - I mean, it’s definitely not like the week between Christmas and New Years or anything - but just be warned that being in Manhattan itself over St Patrick’s Day is a circle of hell. Especially when the 17th falls on a weekend.

I agree with Anakela. The crowds aren’t there for the theatre. They are there to make your every moment miserable. I made a vow never to go to NYC on St. Patrick’s Day again
