The Bee cast is really sweet -- all of them. I'm not sure who comes out regularly or whatever, but they're all very nice. There's no stage door, so just wait in the lobby.

You'll see barricades at Barefoot -- when you exit the theatre, make a left, and it's right there. They all sign, I believe. Patrick is the sweetest -- extremely kind and down-to-earth.

For Sweeney, also look for barricades to your left as you exit the theatre. It's also overall a really kind cast. They all willingly sign and pose for pictures, etc.

The Sweeney cast is fabulous at the Stage Door. They are very chatty too.

I've heard the Three Days of Rain Stage Door tends to be pretty calm. They put barricades up for the first preview but realized they didn't need them and therefore don't use them anymore.

The Odd Couple Stage door is to the right of the door when you head in. Most of the cast comes out within 30 minutes, Nathan and Matt are slight primadonna's and they make you wait up to 60 minutes before they pop out. Sometimes Nathan sneaks out the other back door or only signs for 1/2 the line and jumps in his car. D'Abo only signs a few and then she's gone.

hehe, boxers.

Sweeney stage door is amazing. They're all great and very chatty. Will pose for pics, answer questions, anything.

Spelling Bee, also a friendly cast.

Three Days of Rain is INSANE. Only attemt it if you really, really REALLY need to. Cause it's...horrible.

Odd Couple- Nathan and Matthew are indeed very diva-ish. They'll sign autographs, but don't expect them to be very chatty.

Not sure about any of those, but Drowsy is to the right of the theater. Its on the street by the theater shop that's there. I saw sutton standing outside it just chatting with friends. I guess she was done w/ a rehearsal or waiting on her boyfriend. Either way she seemed very cool.

The 3 Days of Rain stage door is horrible. If you want any chance of seeing Julia Roberts I would either suggest leaving the show early to line up, or def. leave after they start bowing.

I was so pissed when I went to see DRS and I got to the stage door and this really angry guy came out and yelling that "Norbert isn't coming out he went out the other way" and the dude was like pushing people. very rude. I only wanted to see Norbert, ugh.

Rentboy, I'm right with you on the DRS stage door. Norbert came out, signed a few autographs for the first few people by the doors, then went back in.

That wouldn't have been sooo awful, but the guy at the stage door was a complete jerk. There were people who were even trying to stage door, who were just trying to get past, and he was yelling at them for not staying behind the barricades. It was ridiculous.

Sweeney Todd is a completely different story though. Mark Jacoby (Judge Turpin) usually gets out before anybody can get to the stage door, but the rest are all too happy to sign and take pictures. Lauren Molina, Benjamin Magnuson, and Manoel are all so sweet, and Alexander Gemignani is hilarious. Michael Cerveris is also very good about making sure he's signed for everybody before moving to the other side of the barricades.

I had a great experience at DRS stage door last week, and it was after a Saturday Mat. Richard (manning the stage door) talked to us and asked us who we were waiting to see... I wanted everyone's autograph, but there were a few people that were there to see Norbert... he said that he usually doesn't come out between shows but he'll see what he can do.... well, not 5 minutes later out he comes, signs everyone's items and then goes back in. Richard even pointed out people from the show that I didn't recognize so I could get their autographs.
Other stage doors I visited last week...
Wicked- wild but organized, and cast is very nice to everyone.
Mama Mia- I was the only one there but the show was sold out...
Color Purple- a handful of people, very lovely cast members that were more than happy to stand and talk with you for quite awhile.
Tarzan-definitely the largest(and loudest) group... all the cast members came out and stopped to sign and take pictures with everyone (Phil Collins slipped out a side door, but we were sitting about 10 FT from him in the theatre)
Altar Boyz- Lots of 'altarholics', great bunch of guys though.
Odd Couple-not as many people as I would've thought.. Matthew came out and signed/took pictures with everyone as did several of the other cast members... Nathan had hurt his back during the performance (I thought it was part of the show, all that leaning and grimacing) so he was being seen by a therapist and no clue as to what time he'd be out.

We had a great trip and can't wait to come back!
