I'd like to try to go to the stage door after a performance of Les Mis at Pantages, and since I've NEVER stagedoored in my life, I have a couple of questions:
If an actor comes out, how should I try to get attention of them?
Should I bring my own pen?
Also, those of you in Hollywood, where's the stagedoor for Pantages? And usually, how many people have you seen waiting at the stagedoor?
Thanks!!
Bring your own pen just to be safe - they may have a Sharpie but you never know outside of NY. Just approach with a smile and compliment them on their performance and ask if they would mind giving you an autograph.
Yes, bring your own pen... and depending on what it is you want signed, bring a sharpie. Most important: make sure the pen works! LoL. dont be scared though... actors like to hear that the audience feels they did a good job!
when you are exiting the pantages, make a left and follow around the block, there is a ramp there that the actors come out of to go onto the street. and bring a fun colored sharpie!! good luck!
They aren't always going to realize you're a fan, so yes, if you recognize them and want to say something, say "Hi!" or "Hi, Mr/Ms..." Sometimes, "Did you play...?" works, too.
Definitely bring your own pens.
The Les Miz cast on the whole is an extremely nice group of people, so you should have fun. :)
You'll notice these black gates. That is the stagedoor.
