This is the first strike that the UNION Local ONE has had in 121 years. Do you care about the saftey of the actors? Do you care to see a good show? Do you think they wanted to go on strike? They have to pay bills like the rest of us. Yes I support the Union for what they are doing. Working without a contract could and can be dangreous. Has anyone been in a show? Do you all have experience what goes behind the scenes? Let me just say this to have a new crew is stupid, they have to learn all the cues, they have to load in which depending on a show can take a long time. While the actors are in rehearsals they are working on the design of the show. If there is a show at the theatre, when that show gets done they load that show out. Then work on the next show. I have experience and I support them 100 percent. So does the AEA president!
