So I've been doing some googling and nothing has been able to help me. I'm an American stage manager just out of college and have always dreamed of working in England. In the US, I'm looking at some nine month-ish stage management residencies around the country. My question is, do they do anything like this over there? Even if they did, would they even hire an American? I haven't even been able to find any information on "regional" theatres over there, but I'm not even sure that's the correct English term. This would be for the summer or 2010-2011 season. Any help/guidance would be greatly appreciated!
