They had a great segment today on the TODAY show about Stagedoor Manor and all the celebs who went there and what it does for kids... how the waiting list is a year long. They also interviewed a lot of the campers. Just checking to see if any of our kiddies from here were singing or talking on this?

Right now it's third session and they're doing Grand Hotel, Mack and Mabel, Rent: School Edition (ohhh lord), Grease, Jesus Christ Superstar, Honk, Babes in Arms, Bye Bye Birdie, Stepping Out, Little Women, Museum, and Our Country's Good. My best friend is there right now. I'm dying to find out what she's in.

I don't think they'll make aids the flu. They cut barely anything from Avenue Q.
I checked into Stagedoor for my daughter. Wow- it's so expensive. Coming from North Florida I also had to factor in travel costs. I wrote and asked if they did scholarships and they said no. Basically- is it only rich kids who can go to this camp? I make a very good living but I also have college to pay for in a couple of years. I wish there was a camp like this closer to home. Great clip. Thanks chinkie for posting!
