For those that have been before...how exactly does it work? Should I plan on getting there early to get a good view?
Are there opportunities to actually meet the actors & get pics?

First, I would absolutely get there early. I got there 90 minutes before the show last year, and got a good spot (espicially considering it was raining, and I was under some cover).
Second, you will probably have a great chance to meet the performers early in the show (they are in more of a rush to get to their matinees as it gets later). I was right next to the walkway the performers used to and from the stage (on the left side, by the Shubert/Booth stage doors). I met most of them, and got a lot of great pictures.I am hoping to get that spot again this year, since I really want to meet Laura Osnes.
