There is absolutely NOTHING wrong with being starstruck or putting these amazing celestial beings on a pedestal. See story at link for more info.

Yeah, I'll admit it- I definitely get starstruck... I get tongue-tied and can't get the words out right. Plus I, too, always have SUCH a goofy smile on my face in all my pictures with famous people (not that I have that many).

I did, however, manage to get it together when I met Louise Pitre, who's my absolute favorite- I think I even sounded like a normal person when we spoke. LOL Afterwords, of course, I had to write everything down in my journal, so I wouldn't forget a single word she said... re: re: re: re: re: re: re: re: re: re: Starstruck??

You know, I consider myself intelligent, well educated, and usually a very good conversationalist. When I met my favorite Broadway performer backstage......I think I was poised...., but unfortunately, I haven't the foggiest idea of what I said. Could have just been drivel and dribble.....(and hopefully not the kind running down my face!!). I've spoken with him a few times since then....and I think I mostly just grin!!!

I get so very tongue-tied around famous people! I went to a Fab Five book signing in February and I couldn't make anything come out of my mouth when Kyan first said hi, I just smiled like an idiot. He asked me if the guy in front of me was my boyfriend (no such luck) and it took me a little while to process the fact that KYAN who I saw on TV was talking to me in real life...Yeah, I'm a huge dork. I was so smiley and bouncy for the rest of the day...

I wasn't that star struck when i met Harriet Harris while in Millie. I didn't know what to say to her because it was my first time at a stage door. It was cool though, my dad started a conversation with her and i warmed up! =D
