I know it will never happen but I would kill to see Stephanie J. Block as Christine in Phantom... I highly doubt she would ever go in as a replacement in a long running show but still. Thoughts??

Does Stephanie Have the range for that part? She also seems a bit to old for it.
She does seem a bit too old, but I think I recall someone saying that there was a Christine in her 40's before. Now, Love Never Dies, that could work. But who knows when that show will ever come to Broadway? I would love to see Norm Lewis as the Phantom though.
I saw a video of her singing Think of Me and it was amazing, but I'm sure that's as high as her range can go. But I think she'd make an even better Madame Giry. She has that commanding presence onstage that'd be perfect for the role. And you never know, she might go into it one day. She'd be the "limited run" big name they bring in, like when they brought Sierra Boggess. She had a good following

I haven't heard it myself, but according to an interview of hers she has an amazing and wide ranged legit voice. I wouldn't be surprised if she could do it. I'd love to see her as Margaret White. She can belt Eve Was Weak and Boys Could Dance like Buckley, and sing When There's No One like Mazzie. Now that would be something to hear and see.

I don't even know where to begin with that statement.
One thing she does have that isn't as exploited as much as it should be ( besides that glorious voice ) is a superb sense of comic timing. If there's any role in PHANTOM for her, it's Carlotta.
