Ms. Block is such a nice and truthful lady. I recently asked her some questions for my school newspaper.
Here is an interview that BroadwayAcrossAmerican conducted:
FEELING WICKED?
Well, at least we now know how "Defying Gravity" is accomplished...

Yes, but there were numerous explanations on how the flying effect worked. Most people knew it was how Stephanie explained, but now we have proof for those who don't believe!

True.
Now we are all believers!
I love Stephanie J. Block soooo much! She's a true class act.
I love this woman. She's so nice!

Well, I'm glad she's coming to L.A.! I bet she'll be extra nice to me...hopefully.
Out of curiosity, anyone know the professional term for the "cherry picker"? I've heard it called "the hydraulic lift", but am unsure if that's the pro. name, or what.
Also, Eden said that the computer "knows" Elphaba is in place because, once in the appropriate position, she triggers a switch with the small of her back. I'm guessing it's the same for the tour?
Great Interview! Ms. Block is Wonderful, and I cannot wait to see her take on Elphaba!
I've seen Stephanie twice, and she is wonderful! (no pun intended)
She is great as Elphaba, and is very nice and sweet at the stage door after the show.
