Best news ever! Benanti and Pasquale, genius!

Steven Pasquale (A Man of No Importance) has joined the cast in the role of Henrik Egerman. Additional cast members will be announced shortly.

OK... Now I OFFICIALY wish I was going! Although he may have a voice more suited for Carl Magnus, I'm sure he has the range for Henrik. Anyways, he is such a great musical stage actor and him and Benanti have amazing chemistry together (evident from their pre-marriage appearance in The Secret Garden which was terrific).

Would love to see this production of ALNM. Just called The Roundabout, and the least expensive seats that are currently available are $500 and up. All the $150 seats are gone.

I'm wondering if when it comes closer to the actual night of the show, if ticket prices will be lowered, for any seats that haven't been sold? Happens quite frequently here in LA.

Ugh! Why can't they offer like a few student tickets or something? I guess this "once in a lifetime" concert is only for the rich, upper class.

He's only, what, twenty years older than the character?

I love him, and I ADORE Laura Benanti, but I can't imagine how their ages won't be a constant distraction.

It is a concert. Laura Benanti is too old for Anne as well. Who cares? They'll look fantastic on stage and a concert is a great way for us to get to see them play these roles that they are so ideal for. I've only heard good things about Benanti's performance as Anne in LA.

Are you really questioning if Pasquale can sing it? He originated Fabrizio in Piazza and one only need to listen to the cast recordings of Spitfire Grill or A Man of No Importance to know that he can easily negotiate Henrik's 2 big musical moments in Music.
